                   Narratives: H & J

One of Hendren’s unique services is the pictorial story in which the photographer seeks to recreate a story through photographs. Whether it is a story about losing your dog, how you met that special someone, a family story, or a business story, Hendren can creatively reconstruct the events in the form of pictures/photographs leaving you with an unforgettable storybook that you can share with others. These narratives can range from twenty four to over two hundred pictures, and are combined with a narrative text written by the client.

Hunter and Junior Buddy Lucky

Two dogs, father and son, Hunter and Junior live with Dave and Tiffany. They spend a lot of time playing together and enjoy taking walks together. This was fine until the day Hunter and Junior decided to take a walk on their own.

Someone didn’t shut the door properly and the two dogs ran out of the house before anyone noticed. They ran to the woods close by their house, and what a time they had! Hunter led the way into the tall grass going towards the woods and Junior followed without delay. They smelled many things, and ran through fields together, enjoying their new sense of freedom. They got so tired after all of these adventures that they had to take a rest. Hunter rolled around in the grass, and Junior took a moment to lie there and relax.

In the meantime Dave and Tiffany were wandering around looking for their lost dogs. They were calling their names, whistling as loud as they could. Hoping to hear or see any sign of the two dogs. They walked up and down the street holding the dog’s leashes’. Tiffany and Dave were so worried. They asked people walking down the street if they had seen the dogs and no- one had. How could two dogs disappear without anyone seeing them at all? As Tiffany and Dave kept looking, Hunter and Junior were getting farther and farther away. They were chasing each other through tall grass and deep into the woods.
In a split second Junior stopped running and looked behind him. Then Hunter and Junior heard something. It was Dave and Tiffany, they were calling and whistling. Then suddenly, Hunter and Junior were running in the direction of the familiar voices. In a short time they were back in the field and they saw Dave and Tiffany and Dave and Tiffany saw the dogs. So they knelt down and called them over. They were all so happy to see each other. Tails were wagging, everyone was kissing and petting. Dave and Tiffany wasted no time in putting Hunter and Junior on their leashes, and they all began the walk home.

Everyone was so glad to be together again, and Dave and Tiffany were very happy the two dogs were found safe and sound. When they got home, Hunter and Junior were so thirsty and tired, that they got a drink and went right to sleep.
